To get started building your garden patios, you need to measure out the desired area. Go with a size that is going to be reasonable and be large enough to make use of but not oversized. Also remember that rectangular designs tend to be much easier to carry out than curved designs, so if you are beginner, then rectangular is going to be the best way for you to go.
Now you want to dig out the area for the garden patios, typically to a depth of about 8”. Take a level and check that your excavation’s floor slopes away from the house, so that when there is rainfall the rain will drain away from the home and patio rather than towards it. Lay your brick pattern but do not set it into place until you are sure that it is exactly as you want it.
